Bill is the Senior Partner of the practice having qualified from The Royal Dick Veterinary School in Edinburgh in 1980. After graduating he spent two years in a predominantly small animal practice in West Yorkshire. He then did an 18month locum in Hong Kong followed by travel and work in Australia and New Zealand.
Bill came back to work at the family practice in 1984 and was mainly involved in farm work. Since the Hospital was built he has developed the small animal services to compliment our hospital status, as well as expanding the business.
Outside of his work Bill enjoys outdoor activities and sports, including ski-ing, cycling and hill walking, as well as travelling in Europe.
Married to Susan they have two children – Pip and Grant – and two spoilt cats – Tigger and Teasel.
