Lucy is another of the qualified nurses, and acting head nurse while Joanne is on maternity leave. She joined the practice in 1997 straight from school. Whilst working with the practice she carried out her nurses training at Telford college in Edinburgh, graduating in 2000.
The interests she has developed whilst working in practice are medical nursing, behaviour, physiotherapy and the nursing of geriatric patients.
In 2003 Lucy took a year out to go travelling in Australia and New Zealand. Whilst in Australia she was a locum nurse in a practice in Canberra, which although an eye opener, proved to be a very enjoyable experience. Although she's now seen some of the world, Lucy's choice of career is something she wouldn't change."
