Operating theatre
Most operations are performed in Laurencekirk at the fully equipped hospital. Here the team of vets, nurses and training nurses endeavour to make the visit as safe, pleasant and painless as possible for animal and owner alike! We also carry out routine operations such as neutering and dentals at Portlethen.
Unlike some practices there is no set anaesthetic regime, each one being tailored to the suit the needs and requirements of each individual animal. Anaesthetic monitoring, which is performed by our qualified nursing staff, makes use of various types of monitoring equipment to ensure as safe an anaesthetic as possible.
